Work-Order.com?
It is an
online information management system designed for the repair &
maintenance sector. It tracks and generates reports on work-orders,
maintenance agreements, purchase orders, inventory, loaner/rental
inventory, shipping/RMA and more. It features numerous Internet
enabled features like email reports, automatic email reminders for
routine maintenance agreements and more.
Our Internet base provides 3 distinct
advantages.- Connect to the service from anywhere with a
computer and modem. We take care of hardware maintenance &
backups.
- With minimal effort on your part, your customers can now easily view
the status of their repairs, generate asset repair histories plus
many other reports online. If you give them permission, they can
also create new work-orders online that you are immediately
informed of.
- As we upgrade or add to the system, you are automatically
upgraded. No more upgrade CDs to install or store.
Does work-order.com
replace my accounting/POS software? Do I need to change
my accounting software?
No.
Just like accounting software makes lousy work-order/maintenance
agreement management software, we don't claim to be accounting
software. You don't need to change anything. Work-order.com is an
extension of your existing business management software tools.
Our
system provides for the management of your purchase orders & inventory but these portions are not required for the operation of
the basic work-order/maintenance agreement portion of the system. In
short, you can use as much or as little of the system as you desire.
The only points of crossover between your existing accounting
software and our system are customer details, vendor details (if you
choose to track purchase orders via the work-order.com system) and
inventory valuation for balance sheet calculations and year end
inventories etc.
Our desire is to
provide automatic importation of customer/vendor records for a wide
variety of existing accounting platforms. If you are able to
generate/export a list of customers from your accounting software,
contact support so we may write an importation routine and add it to
our library for future users. |
